Kliphuis is situated in the Sneeuberg Nature Reserve, a 14 500 hectare private reserve that is home to Nguni, a variety of antelope, zebra, wildebeest and other wildlife. Kliphuis offers an authentic yet luxurious Karoo experience and is ideal for a family or couple seeking a tranquil hideaway. It can accommodate up to 8 guests. It is a place to escape the rat race, write, read, take long walks or simply relax. Elegant interiors with intricate stonework, reeded ceilings, wooden furniture and luxurious linen add to the character of this idyllic retreat. It is completely secluded, stylishly decorated and well-equipped. At Kliphuis you are far from everything. The nearest 'main' gravel road is approximately 4 km away. This house offers total privacy and everything you need. 

The Poplars is an old farmhouse that has been restored. It can accommodate up to 11 guests, but its warm character makes it a wonderful private retreat for couples or smaller groups. Prices vary according to the number of rooms required, so both small and large groups can be catered for.
A large lawn nestles in a poplar grove, sheltering the house from the prevailing winds. A swimming pool made from an old dam, with turquoise water and red umbrellas, is an idyllic place to cool off while overlooking the Karoo plains. Large, spacious rooms and a variety of indoor and outdoor dining and entertainment areas make Poplars Farmhouse ideal for special occasions.

Poplars is 100m from Karoo Cottage (sleeps 6), making the two houses ideal for a larger group who want to be close enough but still have privacy.

Karoo Cottage is located on the same werf as Poplars and is an old stone cottage that has been renovated into a charming and quaint cottage.

The cottage sleeps 6 and has everything you need to enjoy your time in the beautiful, remote Karoo. Stone walls, large agave plants, soft chunky beds and natural tones give the cottage an authentic Karoo yet homely feel. A perfect home away from home.
The Poplars and Karoo Cottage can be rented separately or together, ideal for a family getaway, conference, wedding or workshop. Guests can book the large indoor swimming pool at Gordonville.

Gordonville Cottage sleeps four with two en-suite queen bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen and lounge. Enjoy coffee and biscuits on the east verandah as the sun rises, and sundowners and a braai on the west verandah. A refreshing morning dip in the pool at the old sheep shearing shed (200m away) will set you up for the day. Walk or mountain bike through the vlei where springbuck, eland, blesbok, zebra and nguni graze and pack a picnic to enjoy by one of the streams.Gordonville Cottage is on the same werf as the Gordonville Mansion.
