ABOUT US
The school, built in 1908, once was the biggest school in the Cape Province. It was named after Mr Kalie Theron who saw his school grow from a two-teacher primary school to a high school. For 35 years he was the principal. Declared a national monument in 1992.
Primary School, offering grade RR 7 education in both English Afrikaans Languages.
Quality education is more important that the quantity of learners in the school.
The school offers extra mural sport activities such as athletics, cricket, tennis, rugby and netbal.
On the cultural side, we offer chess, senior choir, public speaking and a senior dance group.
We encourage mass participation, and therefor all the learners take part in our school concert, which is held every second year.
Learners may also participate at Eisteddfod in dance, writing, photography, art, singing and orals.
