Waterlea on River Tented Cabins is situated on Waterlea Farm in the Middelburg district on the banks of Teebus River.

WE offer two Tented styled Cabins namely Leguaan and Hadeda which are named after some of the inhabitants in the lush poplar Forrest in which the Tents are situated in.

The tents were build in 2018 and hosted by Robert, Jean and Murray on behalf of the Waterlea family.
Both Tents are fully Equipped and have a en suite bathroom from the main bedroom. The tents have a mini kitchen and a gas braai facility on the deck of each tent.

Leguaan can host 4 guests in which we have a double bed and two singles bed ideal for families.
Hadeda has 4 single beds and on request the main bedroom beds can be pushed together.

Enjoy a picturesque view of the river and surrounding mountains off the deck while enjoying some refreshments while the sun is setting. Lots of activities can be done during your stay, Swimming down the River, walks or runs along the river and farm roads, bird watching, fishing, boat trips

Activities offered on appointment River rafting and tubing. Nice routes for the biking enthusiasts. We offer overnight stays to long stays.
