Carlton Heights Guesthouse is the perfect overnight farm stay to travellers along the N9/N10 route through the Eastern Cape towards the coast.
A beautiful old farmhouse offers comfortable private rooms with en-suite bathrooms to a total of 13 people. True Karoo hospitality is on offer with complimentary coffee and rusks. Delicious continental breakfasts and braai packs are also available.
Guests can cool off in an old-school farm dam and share a communal dining room and lounge, as well as a fully equipped kitchen and outside braai. We are wheelchair friendly and guests have access to full package DSTV, free Wifi, undercover and secure parking. We are located on a working sheep farm and it will be our pleasure to take you on a guided tour of our farm and tell you more about our farming activities.

The guesthouse sits between the towns of Middelburg (25 km to the south) and Colesberg (70 km to the north) and is conveniently situated on the national N9 and N10 highway towards the coast.
From Colesberg, follow the N9 highway towards Middelburg for 70km’s – the guesthouse is clearly marked with a big sign next to the road. From Middelburg, follow the N9 highway towards Colesberg for 25 km’s – the guesthouse is clearly marked with a big sign next to the road.
