Perfect refreshing overnight stay in the peaceful Karoo

Southfield Cottage is situated on a tranquil sheep farm 50km from Middelburg EC. It is neat yet cozy, and is perfect for singles, couples or families with children.

Situated adjacent to the owners' home, the self-contained cottage has its own entrance and a patio overlooking the garden and pastures.

The spacious bedroom comprises a queen bed, bunk bed, and a sleeper couch. A camp-cot for babies/toddlers is available on request. The bathroom has a shower and towels are provided.

The kitchen is equipped for a self-catering stay. It contains a fridge/freezer, microwave oven and two plate stove, with necessary cooking utensils. Meals can be provided by prior arrangement.

Double French doors open from the kitchen onto the patio which has a built-in braai (barbecue) with a table and chairs for outdoor dining. Enjoy the bird life and the fresh Karoo air!

The garden is shared with the owners' family, so expect occasional activity of free range children and pets! During the summer months guests are welcome to cool off in the portable splash pool.

Favourite activities include walks in the veld, bird-watching and cycling. Enjoy the sounds of nature and witness the spectacular Karoo sunsets.
