The Karoo Winter Wool Festival returns with a rich, layered programme that brings together farmers, fashion designers, wool experts, families, and creatives for an unforgettable experience beneath the open skies.
🐑 Discover the journey of wool – from shearing shed to runway – with live shearing demonstrations, spinning sessions, and in-depth workshops on sustainable fibre and textile innovation.
🎤 Engage with thought leaders at expert talks and panel discussions covering everything from agricultural politics to wool traceability and ethical sourcing.
 ✨Wander through ‘Wool World: Beneath Karoo Skies’ – a beautifully curated, multi-sensory exhibition that brings the textures, sounds, and stories of the Karoo to life.
🫓Feast on Karoo flavours – from slow-cooked lamb and moerkoffie to local wines and fireside gatherings.
🎶 Soak up the atmosphere with live performances, fireside music, and a Saturday night Woljol under the stars, featuring Millenium and the Springboks rugby test on the big screen.
🎨 Connect with creators – from Crystal Birch’s millinery and moerkoffie experience to hands-on design showcases and lifestyle activations.
