Chris Chameleon is an artist who needs no introduction. With a career spanning over 35 years and an impressive list of accolades – including 3 SAMA Awards, a SAFTA, an honorary award from the South African Academy for Science and Arts, and an FAK certificate of merit – he is one of South Africa’s most awarded and versatile performers.
Known for his work on stage, television, and in film, Chris rose to fame in shows like 7de Laan and toured internationally with his alternative rock group Boo!. His solo debut Ek Herhaal Jou, where he set the poetry of Ingrid Jonker to music, remains a landmark in Afrikaans music.
